Security forces defuse bomb in Kutkai

Security forces had to defuse an improvised bomb found in a house in Ward-5 in Kutkai on Saturday. Acting on a report that an improvised bomb was found at the house of Daw Mar Mon in Ward-5 in Kutkai in northern Shan State, government troops and police had to defuse the device that was attached to a box of about 4,000 small metal balls, two electric detonators, one wire, one plug and gunpowder. The bomb was found in a trash heap by the side of Kutkai-Theinni Road by one of the tenants, who thought that it was a battery, near the house of Daw Mar Mon.
