In the 15th annual Global Analyst Summit held in Shenzhen, China on April 17, Huawei shared its vision and plans for the dynamic and digital “intelligent world” as one of its leading pioneers.
Huawei’s current Rotating Chairman Eric Xu along with other executives provided insights into the strategy and initiatives of the Chinese tech giant to over 500 analysts, key opinion leaders and media representatives across multiple industries including telecommunications, internet and finance.
The company also released Global Industry Vision 2025, in which Huawei outlined the future blueprints of business practices, solutions, innovations and opportunities of a rapidly developing high-tech world in the creating of artificial intelligence (AI), 5G networks, cloud services, Internet of Things amongst many.
It predicted through reliable pattern of current data that the total number of connections around the world will reach 100 billion with at least 89 percent of total data traffic dealing in the Video format. It also said that 86% of global companies will adopt AI systems in their operation and practices which will lead a digital economy worth US$ 23 trillion.
William Xu, Director of the Board and Chief Strategy Marketing Officer of Huawei said, “Through nonstop innovation, Huawei will unfold the blueprint for industry development, and enable all sectors to take part in a fully connected intelligent world. We will team up with our global partners to make this world a reality.”
Huawei held its first ever Global Analyst Summit in 2004 and had been an annual event ever since for 15 years. This year summit began on April 17 and will end on the 19.
