Myanmar lost to Japan 0-2 in 2022 World Cup Qualifiers

MYANMAR lost to Japan in the first leg of the second round Group F of 2022 World Cup Qualifiers at the Thuwunna Stadium in Yangon yesterday.

Myanmar national team lined up with goalkeeper Kyaw Zin Phyo, and players Zaw Lin, Zaw Min Tun (Captain), Nanda Kyaw, Hlaing Bo Bo, Zaw Ye Ton, Kaung Si thu, Soe Moe Kyaw, Thein Than Win, Aung Thu and Than Paing.

The goals for Japan team were scored by Shoya Nakajima at 16th minute and Takumi Minamino at 26th minute. Myanmar is in Group F of the second round of the 2022 World Cup Qualifiers, together with Tajikistan, Japan, Mongolia and Kyrgyzstan.

So far Myanmar played two matches in the second round of Group F against Mongolia and Japan.
